Some Upper Lynn Elementary students are doing what few other school-aged children will
ever do: they're learning to master the Swiss handbeils, on loan to the school from the West
Coast Amateur Music Society (WCAMS). On Apr. 27 the Upper Lynn Handbell Choir received
the highest mark of any other ensemble at the B.C. Kiwanis Music Festival. Anyone interested
in learning how to play the handbells may do so at the WCAMS’ annual Shawnigan Lake
