Kodak corporate communications officer Terry Holmes said that since 1961, when Kodak established a film-processing laboratory here, Kodak's operation has expanded until today it deals in products as diverse as blood analysers and 35mm film. “Marketing, administration and consumer services are what the North Vancouver office is about," Holmes said. Since 1984 the office has administered over 150 employees, including two offices in Edmonton and Calgary. The centre receives both negative and reversal film for processing and offers photographic advice to the public, as well as distributing motion picture negative film, copy products, and microfilm. “This regional office was significant to Kodak Canada’s success last year at Expo 86 where the com- pany recorded more than $7 million in sales,’’ Holmes said.
