Paradis on Dec. 4:

Sean Robert O°’Toole,
35. of Williams Lake, was
fined $5,006 after he plead-
ed guilty to:

a cultivating marijuana on
March 6, 1997 in North
Vancouver City;

@ committing mischiet by
installing a “bypass tap“
belonging to B.C. Hydro on
the same day.

O'Toole was required to
pay $3,120 restitution to
B.C. Hydro “forthwith.”

Before Judge Bill
Rodgers on Dec. 4:

Leonard Merle Nygaard,
29, of Squamish, was fined
$750, received 24 months’
probation and had his dri-
ver'’s licence suspended for
12 months after he pleaded
Not guiity to failing to come
to 2 safe stop, but instead
preaded guilty to the lesser
included offence under the
Motor Vehicle Act.

garage and locker room door.
No foreed entry to lockers.

5. Park Royal South

Shoplifting. Suspects
observed exiting vehicle at
mail while driver remained in
vehicle. Suspects then
observed fleeing, mall with
stolen items. Vehicle found
with driver and suspects at
Ambleside Youth Centre.

tracted clerk while second sus-
pect stole bus passes from

money to pay SY8 cab fare.

Suspect #1 produced a knite
and threatened to use it on
driver, then pulled out a small
canister which was believed to
contain pepper spray. Males
fled. No payment made.
