Tony Comerford has b teaching, kids how to hoot to a jig since before many in the Riverdance ensemble were even born, His Comerroord School of Trish Dance has been operading: in North Van for 18 years, most recently at St. Pius Catholic Church and betore that at Lonsdale United. Prior te opening his school here, he taught dance in Birmingham, Enghnd, where ais amily schooled Colin Dunne, the lead in Riverdaace and thirteen -time world champion in Irsh dance. “Fwo of Comer fora’s former stu- dents, Zoph Caisic and Joc Hanna, are currently touring with the production. Comertord’s newest Crop of dancers will step into the spotlight when the Iris Specracnlar 9S comes to the Mavsey Theatre in New Westminster March 20.
