FIRE BOAT A_ VANCOUVER | shipbuilder, Celtic Shipyards Ltd., has been selected to build a fleet of fast response fire boats to provide waterborne fire protection for the Port of Vancouver. The contract is worth $1.58 mil- lion for the design, construction and fitting out of the five 40-foot aluminum vessels. The construction schedule pro- vided by Celtic Shipyards and ap- proved by the Port Fire Protection society with a mandate to strengthen, encourage and support families through information, education, research and advocacy. The forums will be coordinated by Tami Lundy, a social devel- opment - consultant on contract with the BCCF.
