There has been some talk lately of farming
out the general insurance that ICBC handles
‘to the private sector. Taking it one step
further, today’s question is:

‘Would you like to see
ICBC become a private
company?"

for NV trio

RCMP DRUG squads seized more than 100
pounds of marijuana plants found growing at a
Dollarton Highway residence Sunday.

About 60 plants, ranging
in height from four to 10
feet, were found growing
outside a house at 3753
Dollarton Highway.

Another 50, also between
four and 10 feet tall, were
found growing in what police
describe as an eleborate in-
door hydroponic garden, set
up to simulate the ideal
Marijuana growing condi-
tions found in southern
chmates.

Police estimate the plants
would have yielded a crop of

between 40 and 50 pounds of
marijuana, with a_ street
value of $50,000.

The plants were seized by
members of the North Van-
couver drug squad after a
search of the house.

Appearing in court for the
first time Monday, to face
charges of cultivating mari-
juana and possession of the
drug for the purpose of traf-
ficking, were James Barter
Kishul, 30, Dane Lange
Skillings, 24, and David
Frederick Blackburn, 30.
