The day-long event will include favorite Scottish music, dance, fun, food and games, says orga- nizer Nan Wilson. While not all the entertainment is lined up yet, Wilson has con- firmed that the White Rock Clansmen and the Gaelie Choir will be setting the mood for the day. And keeping pace will be the Royal Scottish Country dancers, Highland dancers and individual Pipers, Wilson explains. For the young a whole slate of games have been planned. Besides the traditional running races, there will be old Scottish favorites like the shet put, and throwing the sheath, Wilson said. “And we hope to have stalls for Scottish knits and things,’ said Wilson. ‘‘We will alsa be dishing out Scottish goodies too.”’ The goodies will go along with such Scottish delicacies as haggis and pancakes. For furthee information call 987-$488 ONTARIO PAVILION Hansen Trust receives coins JACK CALLEN, Commissioner of the Ontario Pavilion at Expo 86, has announced all coins depos- ited in the Pavilion's reflecting pool will be donated to the Rick Hansen Man In Motion Canadian Trust Fund, Hansen, the accomplished Ca- nadian wheelchair athlete from Vancouver, currently is in the midst of the around-the-world Man In Motion World Tour rais- ing money for spinal cord research. “People have been generous in throwing coins into the Ontario Pavilion reflecting pool,’’ said Callen. ‘““Me want the coins to go lo some worthwhile charitable cause. SATURDAY Rick Hansen's courage and dedication to such an important- humanitarian cause as spinal cord research has touched all of us at the pavilion. I’m sure the public will be pleased with this use of the funds.”’ Thousands of coins have been thrown in the pool around the north and east faces of the Pavil- ion since the opening of Expo 86. “We will collect it from time to time and forward cheques to the Trust Fund as a gift from visitors to the Ontario Pavilion in honour of Rick Hansen,’ the Commis- sioner stated.
