NEGLECTFUL mothers have
more psychological and personality
problems than either abusive
mothers or norma/ mothers, those
with no history of child abuse or
neglect. ;

The three groups of women were
compared by University of North
Dakota researchers with-regard to
their psychological, personality
and socialization qualities as well
as their levels of anxiety, hostility
and depression.

With significant frequency, the
