A Sunday evening bike ride turned
sour for a 14-year-old North
Vancouver boy, when his bike was
stolen from under him.

The victin was riding his bike when he was
approached by a lone suspect who was carry-
ing a piece of black plastic pipe and threar-
ened to harm hin ifhe didn’t get off the bike.

fr man Costly bike stolen from teen

The suspeet was last seen riding the bike
easton Keith Read. He is described as a
nauve male, 1 to 16 vears old with short
dark hair, 5 (170 em) with a stocky buiid.
Atthe time of the robbery he was wearing a
black ‘Peshirr and khaki jeans.

The stolen bike is described asa black, full-
suspension Brodie Libido 2000 with orange
lettering. E's worth about $2,500.
