after one of the lat-
est Marijuana grow-
op busts in the
British Properties
works in a North
Vancouver day care.

Kathleen Jean Pizzuto,
together with her husband
Richard Robert Pizzuto, 26,
appeared in North Vancouver
provincial court last Wednesday
to face charges of:

@ marijuana production;

@ possessing cocaine for wat
* ficking purposes;

B possessing hervin.

The drug offences were
alleged to have occurred on
March 10 in West Vancouver.

The Pizzutos are not in cus-
tody. Their next North
Vancouver court appearance is
scheduled for June 7.

dogs at large, according to
prosecuting Crown hawyer
Francesca Marzan. Vhree of

North Vancouver provincial
court Judge Doug Moss found
Rizzuto guilty of the offence
invelving the large rostweiler.
The judge fined her $500. A
$500 fine is a stated sanction in
the bylaw tor a tourth infrac-
don,

Witness Brian Speirs testi-
fied that neo dogs, one of
which he called a bull mastift,
had twice surrounded his vehi-
cle while he was in his driveway
in the = 1000-block — of
Millstream Road on Jan. 19.
