To ease the pain, a Canada wide program: dubbed ‘Take Our Kids To Work saw scores of Gride 9 students across Canada skip a day of school and march off to work last Wednesday. The result? According to the pro- gram’s sponsors, “a real fife experience in a work environ- ment.” But according to three stu- dents from West Vancouver's Rockridge school, it was more emertaining than anything, else. Pat Hennessy was in a goed position to partici- pate in the program because his brother-in-law is none other than Willy Perey, one half of the popular C-FOX morning radio show Larry und Willy. Accompanying Hennessy to the session were two of his classmates, Allen Manser and Lars Vedo. I can't stand these lithe guys,” said Perey. “Not only that, E had to drive these guys in the car and one of them smelled reaily bad.” But seriously. Their own career choices were not made until the duo “exhausted all other possibili- ties.” Seriously now. “How do you get the job?” Willy pondered aloud during a commercial break. “You apply for it.” Most young people can only wish it was thar easy.
