Seven-year-old Quinn Millir braved the drizzle a week ago Saturday to collect a
few treats left by the Easter Bunny at Heywood Park in the Hamilton area of North
Vancouver. The Easter Bunny was assisted by the North Van Host Lions Club.

Applications are invited for Volunteer Scrutineers to observe voting proceedings on a Referendum

requiring the assent of the clectors which will be voted on April 19th, 1997.

Only School District 44 electors are entitled to act as scrutincers in this voting and applications must
~ include a statement as to whether the applicant is in favour of the expenditure or opposed to the expen-

The Board of School Trustees of School District No. 44 (North Vancouver) seeks approval to
raise funds in the 1997 calendar year through local residential taxation for expenditures in the
next school year in addition to those provided for by the preliminary allocation and fir:al allo-
cation to this schoo! district. Please place and “xX” in the appropriate box signifying that you
approve or do not approve of the proposed expenditure.
