Ir is my guess that reporters sense that Seymour represents a microcosm of the battle for the future. The future [am referring to is one in which local com- munities thrive in a relatively sane atmosphere of clean air, safe streets, minimal crime _and stress-free living. Who wouldn’t want these features? That is not the question. What they don't say ts that Seymour will now model the rest of the district which is characterized by sin- gle-family dwellings and low- density townhomes. Oh no. Seymour in their minds has a different future which they will not share. Listening to the demands of such developers as United Properties and their own development plans, council- lars are ready to approve more highrises when sales of these units are currently flat. While claiming that Seymour must have more mixed hous- ing, they don’t explain why people are not buying the existing stock of highrise frequently AYLORROTIV SERVICE LTD.
