He is survived by his loving wife Elaine, daughter-in-law Vi, grandson Terry and his wife Yvonne and great-grandson Kristian, granddaughter Cheri and her husband Brice, brother Vince and his wife Faye and niece and nephew Carol and Kenneth. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as 2 Flight Instructor in 1943, also instructing Australian pilots in Canada and then served overseas in England and then in China as a member of the Hong Kong Volunteers.
