It’s PNE time!

PACIFIC National Exhibition opened Saturday with its
grand annual parade, leading the crowds to this year’s sights.
One of the exciting new attractions for the 17-day fair in-
cludes the full-size replica of the Columbia space shuttle that
was in production since May. There’s more fun for the kids,
too, with Kids World and the Dairyland Petting Zoo housed
together in a red and white striped tent. Left, geese, ducks,
turkeys and chickens are just some of the hundreds of birds
and animals on display. There are more prizes to be won this
year, and the PNE dream home is valued at over $400,000.
Don't forget seniors’ free admission on August 22 and 29.
And for those who need a ride, charter buses will operate on
