IN person, Arnold Schwarzenegger
defies his own larger-than-life per-
sona in all areas but one: every once
in a while the buttons on his white
silk shirt are stretched to the limit by
his imposing physique.

He was in town to thank the cast and crew
of his new movie, Te ot Day, which was shot
in Vancouver. A special advanced screening of
the film was organized tor evervone who
worked on the film itself, and others, points
out Schwarzenegger: “the people who mas-
saged me, the people who gave me pedicures
onee a week...”

But he almost wasn't invited ta his own
party. “PE overheard it ina makeup trailer in the
jungle of Mexice. That's how studio executives
think... if they thy me up here it will cost some
