ADAM Woodall and the Savary Island

performed Dec. 17 at the restaurant by the same
name in West Vancouver. The atmosphere is unpre-
tentious and intimate, similar to a bistro in the heart
of old Montreal. Quaint.

BASSIST Ken and his Chickmzagnets’ bandmates
drummer Dave and guitarist Lucas played their
Ramones-influenced punk at warp speer Dec. 18 at
the Pic. The band’s CD Low Sudget Superherces is
available on Crusty Recerds.

LAURELL Barker celebrated the refease of her debut
self-produced CD Nectar Dec. 15 at Piece of Cake in
North Vancouver. Laurel has a sweet voice with
notable range and songs free of angst. innecent and
youthful, yet somewhat sagacious.
