THE RESTORATION of Lynn Valley Preschool is complete. The heritage building received some
much-needed exterior paint — in colors keeping with its past -—- and also some minor structural
renovations. The Mountain Highway school was built in 1907.

Lynn Valley heritage school gets a needed face-lift

RENOVATIONS ARE complete

that has been educating North
Vancouver children for 86 years.

’ Built in 1907 asthe original
one storey Lynn Valley school,
the building has housed the Lynn
Valley Parent Participation
Preschool since 1962.

Thanks to a grant from the
Vancouver Foundation, much-
needed cosmetic renovations have
been completed at the school
located at 3250 Mountain High-
way.

Rotten wood has been replaced
and a fresh coat of colors, specific
to the building’s heritage, has
