Derek Neale, AIBC president said the new members have brought the number of B.C. ar- chitects ta more than 1,000. While some new members are joining as a result of recent reciprocity agreements with Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, most have completed an arduous academic, professional intern and examination process. “B.C. candidates have exhibited consistently high standards in the North American examination system, indicative of the levels of professionalism and quality that all B.C. architects are striving to achieve,’ said Neale.
