pene tg ee Funds BRITISH COLUMBIA'S first mobile-mammiography clinic is the focus of a fund-raising drive by the B.C. and Yukon division of the Canadian Cancer Society, The society needs to raise $250,000 for the purchase and set-up costs of the custom-designed 35-foot van. Staffing, physical operation and annual costs of ap- proximately $350,000 will be un- dertaken by the provincial gov- ernment. Target date for the Jaunch of the van is early January 1990. The van is slated for use in areas where there is a jack of mam- mography clinics, primarily those outside the Lower Mainland.
