The first play “BLIND DATE” by Frank Marcus concerns the meeting of a young girl and an older man at a London railway ter- minus where problems of identification present some amusing situations. Following this is “SHELTER” by Alun Owen, which takes the audience through the persuasion of a young woman sheltering from the rain to take an honest look at the unhap- piness of her marriage. Lastly “NEXT” by Terrence McNally shows action in the medical room of a U.S. Army Recruiting Centre where a middle-aged draftee makes some unexpected discoveries in the course of a physical examination. These three one-act plays _will be presented at Hendry Hall, 11th & Hendry (two blocks east of Grand Boulevard), North Van- couver on Thursday to Saturday, April 17 to 19 with curtain at 8:30 p.m. and tickets $3.00.
