We surely did not spend hundreds of manhours to do nothing, just because the Council decided to shelve the report! After all, we had obtained a lot of valuable in- formation, which would be of use to Council and the Ad- visory Planning Authority Secondly, the way in which the C ouncil received the statt report and recommendations document certainly did not reassure us that a polices to reintroduce infill duplex units and townhouses into single family zoned areas would not come back again within a comparatively short) period of time.
