The mall will be seen in a new light as it expands to 208,000 square feet of building area, major renova- tions take place and its name changes to Lynn Valley Centre. Negouations have been com- pleted for a 90-seat food fair with four different speciality food units. Chard explained that the expansion will be about 20,000 square feet and that construction will begin in the spring of 1984, with a September 1984 completion date. Marathon Realty Com- pany Limited is a subsidiary of C.P. Enterprises Limited, and specializes in shopping centres, office buildings and industrial development. They purchased the mall from Block Brothers two years ago as a long-term investment. wR .
