Progressive Conservative Association which split away from the party's federal organization to become a separate administrative entity at the B.C. Tomnes’ annual convention last week in Richmond. The B.C. branch of the party is presently leaderless and without representation in the B.C. legislature. The motion to Separate federal create and provincial memberships received solid support Saturday from the 296 votng delegates present. The split aims at facilitating the administrative work needed to start rebuilding the party at the provincial level.
