various charges:

Before Judge Doug Moss in North
Vancouver provincial court on
Aug. 26:

Trevor Allan Smail!, 22, of
Vancouver, was jailed 30 days and
received 12 months’ probation
after he was found guilty of
assaulting a male on March 7,
1992, in North Vancouver District.

The Crown recommended that
Smaill serve his jail sentence
through the electronic monitoring
system.

Before Judge Doug Moss in North
Vancouver provincial court) on
Aug. 25:

Ira Kenton Chow, 33, of Van-
couver, was fined $100 after he
pleaded guilty to stealing mer-
chandise belonging to Save-On-
Foods on Oct. 8, 1992, in North
Vancouver.

Andrienne Lynn Gorrie, 32, of
North Vancouver, was fined $300
and received 12 months’ probation
after she pleaded guilty to stealing
groceries from a North Vancouver
City store on July 6.

of North Vancouver, received 12
months’ probation after he
pleaded guilty to stealing cheese
from Canada Safeway on\June 29
in North Vancouver City.

Glen Isadore Trudeau,; 41, of
Vancouver, received 12 months’
probation after he pleaded guilty
to stealing merchandise belonging
to Woolco on May 22, 1992, in
North Vancouver City.

Before Judge Bill Rodgers in
North Vancouver provincial court
on Aug. 25: :

Cody Fleming, 20, of; North
Vancouver, was fined $750 after
he pleaded not guilty to Possessing

than $1,000, but instead, pleaded
guilty to a lesser or included of-
fence of stolen property possession
worth less thas $1,000.

The original charge indicated
the stolen property consisted of a
pellet pistol and jewelry belonging
to a male. .

North Vancouver provincial court
on Aug, 24:

Christopher Harley Foster, 20,
of North Vancouver, was jailed
one day after he pleaded guilty to
breaching probation on Aug. 23
by being found within a one-block
radius of a residence located in the
100 block of West 6th Street in
North Vancouver City.

Aug. 23:

John Patrick Spence, 23, of
North Vancouver, was fined $300
after he pleaded guilty to stealing
a jacket belonging to Sears
Canada on Jan. 5 in North Van-
couver.

August 20:

Michael Ray Gelling, 21, of
North Vancouver, was fined $250
after he pleaded guilty to
breaching probation by failing to
complete 75 hours of community
work service between May 21,
1992, and March 31, 1993.

Michael Courtney Johns, 33, of
Maple Ridge, received 18 months’
probation after he was found
guilty of assaulting a female on
