The Seymour-area restau- rant was originally opened as Kostakis Taverna in March 1994 by Kostakis Nalmpantidis. It changed hands and was . rechristened Kostas in 1997. Its kitchen, however, has con- tinued throughout to turn out traditional Greek souvlaki fare. ; Sarbakhteh’s previous restaurant specialized in Persian cuisine. . And further to the east in ’ the heart of Deep Cove, the venerable Raven Pub (1052 Deep Cove Rd., 929-3834; fax: 929-3062) is set to turn 20. - Owner Dave Feller, who re-established the Raven as one of the North Shore’s best pubs four years ago when he renovated the prop- erty, has set Dec. 20 as the anniversary celebration date for the Raven. Meanwhile, in the lead-up to the anniversary, the Raven recently unveiled a new menu. Lots of hearty pub fare listed: besides burgers (S8 and $9), you'll find some interesting Raven sandwiches (Tandoori Chicken, Jamaican Jerk, French Onion Steak). They run from $9 to S11.
