Police officers: obtained 2 search warrant for the Baird Road house after surveillance was carried our following numerous complaints from neighbours of suspicious activ- ity. Four people wer sted: 2 49-year-ald man and a 29- year-old man who lived in the house; a woman who was picked up on an outstanding warrant and handed over to the Vancouver Police; and a 52-year-old man who was in the house at the time of the raid, although he is not a resi- dent. No names were released to press time Fri glary suspects are duc to appear in court Aug. 23. Police also found an ounce of cocaine and $1,000 cash in the house. Thousands of dollars worth of goods were retrieved, including radios, TV scts, stereo cquipment, musical instruments, sports ¢q' ment, collector’s comics, jew- elry, and a photocopier.
