Kyla Morton, a Grade 12) student at the West Vancouver private school, won gold in the lightweight girls’ singles, then teamed with Nicole Nemeth, a Grade 11 student, to claim a bronze in the girls‘ lightweight pairs. Rowers trom Collingwood also fared well at the B.C. Championships, as Morton and Nemeth joined forces with Grade 11 students Wendy Clarke and Sarah Greenwood to win the gold-medal in the lightweight girls‘ four competition. The four was coxed by Grade 12 student Carolyn Redden. Also at the provin- cials, Grade 11 rower Riley Senft stroked to the B.C. champi- onship in the light- weight boys’ singles final.
