A large coat of arms — seen left. with sign painter Kate Clifford — was added to one of Park Royal's overpasses to proclaim the anniversary. Fire gutted a dock at North Vancouver's Vancouver Shipyards in early September as the largest barge in the world was undergoing repairs. A number of igs arrived at the scene of the fire offering assistance (right). The dock suffered $500,000 damage and had to be rebuilt.
