FIFTEEN-year-old Nicholas Maloff of North Vancouver has shown considerable musical tal-
ent in piano. Recently returned from Trois Ri

vieres, Quebec, as one of the 40 representatives
from B.C., Maloff won first prize in the Canadiah Music Competition for 16 and under.
Maloff is a full scholarship student in music at UB

C, he has studied privately in Vienna and
he has completed the University of Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music Practical Grade X
piano examination with the highest mark in B.C.
