Secondary Band category out of 15 best bands of the 33 awards presented went to the Western pro- vinces; 10 to B.C. Nanaimo District Secondary School won three gold awards in the Senior Dixieland Band, Senior Stage Band and Com- Senior Jazz Choir and silver in the Intermediate Stage Band.
