Concerned residents ol
the Lynmour area told North
Vancouver District Mayor
Don Bell they want a new
road to Capilano College.
Thirty representatives
from six strata units on
Lillooet Hill met with Mayor
Don Bell last Wednesday
evening to voice their
concerms over the traffic
congestion on access roads
to their homes.

Lillooet Road is the only
access road to the area and
residents along the road
complained that Capilano
College students are guilty of
speeding on their way to and
from the college.

don’t want to dirty their
community with a dump,”
she added. ;

Although one person

Although there is no room
in the 1980 budget for
construction of a permanent
road there, Bell told the
meeting he would follow up
on the possibility of putting
that in the 1981 budget for
the district.

“That's the key,” Al
Clapp. chairman for the
meeting said. “We can worry
about the garbage later.”
