Mercedes thief gets a year in jail THE man who rear-ended a West Vancouver woman and then sped off'in her purple Mercedes was nabbed by police after a car chase on Vancouver Island Monday. Raymond Lawrence Poulin, 50, of New Westminster was caught driving the 1991 Mercedes in Sooke, a West Vancouv Police spokesman said.
