THE loss of well-known insurance broker fohn
F. (Jack) Hamilton is being 41 across the North
Shore. In insurance circles he was kaown for
(among many things, his role as general manag
er and chief spokesman for the 68Q-office
Insurance Brokers Association of B.C., and as
Insurance Person of the Year in 1994, But the
Caulicild resident was popular in the community
as well. He was active with the North Shore
Association for the Mentally Handicapped, serv-
ing asa president of the association at one time.
He was a lifetime member of the Musicians’

Asocauon, and plaved trombone with the
Kivilano Bovs Band, the Dal Richards B.C.
lions Band and the Vancouver Fire Department
Rand. On Jurie 14, Hamilton died at heme after
a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife Norma and chil-
dren Cindy, David and Graham.
