Extensive grooming has also
been carried out on the mountain's
lower trails.

At adjacent Whistler Mountain,
work is almost finished on the new
Peak triple chair, which, when
completed, will open up Whistler's
highest peak and add about 15 new
runs to the existing 86.

The new chair will extend ski
boundaries into the mountain's
West Bowl.

Whistler management is also
planning to install protective
weather bubbles on some of its
triple chairs.

The Tyax Mountain Lake,
B.C.’s newest ski resort, is sched-
uled to open in late December.
