Youth Link chair

Youth Pro-
grammer with the North Vun-
couver Recreation Commission,
has been elected to serve a two
year term as Chairman of Youth
Link, the newest branch of the
British Columbia Recreation and
Parks Association (BCRPA).

Youtn Link is a network of
youth practitioners, volunteers,
policy makers and agencies that
are committed to developing
youth through leisure.

“Because of this and the lack of
youth advocacy within com-
munities across the country,
preventive services for this
group are either very few in

The Youth Link program pro-
vides a network that allows people
in the field to exchange informa-
tion and ideas and to keep current
on trends and issues.

staff and union members alike
pulled together to put West Van-
couver over the top. However,
staff organizers were quick to
point out that without the help

THE 1990 United Way Campaign
for West Vancouver employees
