I would be grateful if you would

newspaper who offered me en-
couragement and words of support
throughout the recent federal elec-
tion campaign. .

As these far outnumbered the .
actual number who voted for me, I
must presume that in the final
analysis, they felt it was more im-
portant to vote for another.
Nevertheless, I am grateful to them
and to the electors who did choose
to cast a vote for less government
and more freedom for the individ-
