Whip until fluffy with hand mixer. Gently fold in whipped cream and well- drained crushed pineapple. Decorate bottom of tin with pineapple rings and cherries. Pour a little of the jello mixture over them to hold them in place. Alter- nate layers of cake with jello mix- ture, making sure the jello seeps down the sides.
