$30,000 will be spent on
beautifying the Caulfeild
Cypress roadway in-
terchange and part of
Cypress Park Estates West
Vancouver council decided
Monday.

Alderman Dave Fi-lay

objected that so much tax-
payer money should be spent
on a roadway. But when
Municipal Manager Terry
Lester explained the money
would come from _ the
developer, Finlay replied:
“That makes my heart feel
good.”

Lester assured council
that staff would still try to

keep the final bill under
$30,000.
Alderman Diana Hut-

chinson who had visited the
site told council it was “good
spending of the money.”
