_Shore_ News softball ‘team

was eliminated ~ Saturday,
from the Fifth Annual Sea-
Festival Media Tournament.
The team, which was formed
one week prior to the
tournament, promised fo be
back next year and, with a
little more experience, bring
the trophy to the North
Shore for the first time.

The NEWS went down 13-
9 at the hands of a strong
CKLG-CFOX team, but
made the semi-finals with
their pair of upset wins over
GRIFFITHS-GIBSON  A-
DVERTISING and the pre-
tournament favorites, CFUN
RADIO.

ning, however by not being
able to generate any offence
in their half of the seventh,

the corner, in early Sep-
tember, The team will be
-playing in a new league on
the North Shore this season.
The softball team also
thanks everyone who turned
out to support them at the
Sea-Festival Tournament,
