“The most important lip is to
complete the two-part registration
form at the park Kiosk before you
stint out,” says Mitch Sokalski,
GVYRD parks superintendent. "On
retum, deposit the second part in
the Kiosk box. ‘This simple action
lets our staff know you are safe and
sound.

“If we know hikers haven't
returned, we notify the ROMP, and
search and rescue action could be
initiated.”

searched for in the park have regis-
tered,

“Hikers should also be aware
