Gardens on Saturday, Dec, 2 and
join in the Christmas festivities.

At 5:30 p.m. see Santa’s parade
led by the North Vancouver
Rangerettes.

At 6 p.m. the Park and Tilford
Gardens Annual Light-Up Cere-
mony will be presided over by Lois
Walker, children’s columnist and
television host.

This will be followed by the
Making Christmas Bright Celebra-
tion, a holiday season corpcrate
Christmas tree sponsorship cam-
paign on behalf of the Save the
Childsen Fund of British Colum-
bia. A series of Christmas trees
decorated by the various local
businesses that have contributed to
the Save the Children Fund will be
on public display.

Events take place at the Park
and Tilford Gardens entrance, be-
tween Brooksbank and Gladstone
Avenue off Main Street in North
Vancouver..

Ongoing Christmas  entertain-
ment will be offered in Park and
Tilford Gardens between 7 and 8
p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and
Sundays, as well as 2 and 4 p.m.
on Sundays, up to and inciuding
Saturday, Dec. 23.

on Friday, Nov. 24. It indicated
the ships will visit North Van-
couver at 7:30 p.m. on Friday,
Dec. 15.

For clarification, the location in
North Vancouver will be Water-
frout Park, 200 block West
Esplanade. The North Vancouver
Chamber of Commerce wiil be in
the park at that time accepting
non-perishable goods for the
Christmas Bureau.
