Audience, actors. mix in unique NV play A HALL built in 1899 will be the setting for a tale of turn-of-the- century life in England this week as Lark Rise to Candleford comes to Anne MacDonald Hall. Across the parking lot from the Presentation House Theatre, the hall ‘tmatches the ambience of the play,” said theatre - managing director Kathleen Stringer. Presented in the promenade style, the entire auditorium becomes the stage for Presentation House’s Film and Theatre School. Based on the novel Lark Rise to Candleford, director Catherine Caines will be presenting Lark Rise, one of two plays that have been adapted from the book. “The audience and actors mingle,’’ said Stringer. ‘‘The scene wili be taking place in a corner — when that peters out the audience moves to the next scene.”” Said Caines: ‘The 18 cast members move in and around the audience. Everything is done with just the actors because you can’t have any sets.”’ Chairs will be provided for those with difficulty sitting on the floor, Caines said.
