In one case, a thief broke through a door to gain ac- cess to the premises and in the other an armed robber used a knife. In both cases was drugs. The first incident’ was reported to RCMP at 4:30 a.m. Thursday when they were called to the Lynn Valley Mall. Police arrived at the scene to find the glass front door of the Boots Pharmacy outlet had been smashed in. All that was missing from the drug store was a small amount of drugs according to police. The second incident was Thursday at 6 p.m. when a man entered Anderson Pharmacy at Third and Lonsdale, produced a knife and demanded drugs. the target f Dorothy Merchandise Manager The robber fled when given what police again describe as ‘‘a small amount”’ of drugs. acies Police report the man was wearing a motorcyle helmut and sunglasses to hide his facial features. He was also wearing a blue ski jacket and carrying a small knapsack. Police investigation of the two drug thefts continues.
