In ‘the Junior Womens
Competition first-year skip
Leanne Matkovitch from the
North Shore W.C. defeated
Lorianne Mendoza, also
from the NSWC, 9-8.

They advance to the pro-
vincial playdowns at the

League as they defeated the
Blues 5-3 on Saturday night.

Boston Pizza moved up to

goals and adding two assists.

In other weekend games,
the Blues were defeated by
