Students make movie magic in CIC program WHO EXACTLY is that best boy person? What exactly does the grip have a grip on? Are they glorified gofers? Petheps they are intrinsic to the process of making movie magic. Teens attending film production sessions this summer at the North Vancouver-based Canadian Inter- national College (CiC) will find out how films are put together. The course is offered as part of the CIC Summer Plus program for children, teens and adulis. The first session runs from July 6 to 17; the second session from July 20 to 31. A three-week session is set for Aug. 4 to Aug. 21. Classes are in session a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will delve into aspects of screenwriting, directing, location finding, camers shots and lighting. In the second week of each ses- sion participants will produce a short video.
