. WHAT IS SUSINESS EXCELLENCE?

In. keeping with the mission statement of the North
Vancouver Chamber of Commerce the recipient of a
Business Excellence Award will be 2 business person
or Dusiniess who displays a significant and sustained

Commitment to positive business development and

economic growth within the community. They are a

_ positive role model for business. They show vision,
the courage to take risks and be a catalyst for change.

They have achieved a broad level of feadership. They
volunteer their leadership skills within the business
community or the community at large.

ABOUT THE AWARDS

The North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce is pleased
to announce the First Annual Business Excellence
Awards. These awards are intended to publicly
recognize local area businesses that have demonstrated
a continued passion for excellence and to promote the
advancement of respunsibie business leadership and
harmony within our community,

They will be presented at the Business Excellence Awards
Dinner on Wednesday, October 28th.

The first annual awards program will leave a legacy
through the establishment of a bursary for a North
Vancouver student pursuiig business studies.

THE EVENING

The Awards Dinner will be emceed by North Vancouver's
own jennifer Mather of Global Television.. An ambience:
of celebration and anticipation will surround the eveniz
