A case in point — allowing more freedom in the auto insurance field. Let me illustrate further. If when procuring home or life insurance, a person feels that the premiums charged are too expensive, or the service wasn't up to standard then we have the freedom to choose another company with which to do business. However, when it comes to the matter of auto insurance, we do not have that choice. I ask you Mr. Bennett, why do we not have the same freedom of choice, with regard to auto in- surance, that all the other provinces of this country, except one, enjoy? I urge you to fulfill your election promises to the people of British Columbia, and bring private auto in- surance, for both basic and optional coverage, back to this province. H.F.M. Frankly, I was surprised to see the prominence that the North Shore News accorded to this misinformation about TAGG when the facts are so RETIREMENT ANNUITIES BC's leading annuity brokers are now on the North Shore providing personal attention and competitive quotes. Over many years, the NDP have pushed party politics in B.C. firstly at the municipal level, then the school board level, and recently with Vancouver City Savings Credit Union elections. If Schreck has a probelm with party pohtics at the local level, I suggest that he take the issue up with the NDP ATARI box of 10 $3295 box BASF Computer Cassettes who have nominated him. School boards’ autonomy has always been limited by provincial rules and responsible people recognize the need for restraint at this time. My concern has always been that increased spending by the school board requires more money from local taxpayers. Quality education must be maintained but there is a limit to the financial resources of our community.
