in final stretch

THE Lions Gate
Hospital 9-1-1 Relay is
a community fundrais-
ing event for emer-
gency services at Lions
Gate Hospital.

To date, more than
$420,000 has been raised,
making the North
Shere event one of
Vancouver’s most
successful fundrais-
ers of its type. This
year’s event, on
Sunday, Sept 21,
will raise money
towards the pur-
chase of a neurosur-
gical microscope.

Every penny
that is raised or
donsted goes directly ~
towards the goal. This is
made possible through the
support of sponsors who
cever the event expenses. -
