THE WEST Vancouver Youth Band

(WVYB) has been making music in the

community for 65 years.

To celebrate this accomplishment the band
will perform at a variety of venues this spring.
On Saturday, May 4, the 40-member senior
band joins The Milleraires in a Big Band
Cabaret at the Squamish Nation Recreation

Centre, 100 Capilano Rd.. North Van. Tickets,
$20, are available by calling 970-0112.

On Saturday, June |, the band will show off
its new uniforms during West Vancouver
Community Day.

WVYB will finish the season June 19 with
a performance by the junior, intermediate and
senior bands at John Lawson Fark.
